ANIME: Beyblade.
CHARACTER: Kai Hiwatari.  LOLz, never known anything to have brown-ish pink blood before.... Yup, had a rough time with the water paint; first it came out a bright rose pink, then I had to mix a stronger shade and it turned out more browny. XPAh wellz, nevertheless, here we have the great Kai Hiwatari from Beyblade (my ultimate fav character in one of my top Animes!!).  I've loved Beyblade ever since it first came on TV like 5/6 years ago and I'm still a HUGE fan!!  And Kai rocks my world!!  This is a copied pic from a scene when they were on the ship in season one. The background was just a bit of an experiment, especially the hatchett sketching (that is what it's called it, right?  ), but half way through I was kinda picking up vibes along the episode 'Drawn To The Darkness' where Kai betrays the Bladebreakers and uses Black Dranzer. So that's kind of the whole...'theme' if you will, behind it.  That bitta darkness in the corner (Drawn To The Darkness) and the blood is suppose to be Dranzer's (the blood he shed when Kai threw him away). So there you have it. Hope to do many more Kai pics in the future (hopefully some coloured ones  ). Kai RULES!!  And maybe next time it won't take me as long either (started this in November) Diclaimer~ I DO NOT OWN BEYBLADE!!...  (c) Takao Aoki/Nelvana!! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
